A Japanese mentsuyu (noodle dipping sauce) rich in bonito flake and kombu umami. Halal-certified and made in Japan — a rare find, as most mentsuyu products contain alcohol. Perfect for soba, udon, somen, and hot pot broth, and doubles as a versatile cooking seasoning.
How to use:
Dipping sauce: 1 part sauce to 2 parts water
Pouring sauce: 1 part sauce to 3 parts hot water
Cooking: use as a seasoning base for soups, stews, and stir-fries
Halal Status: Certified Halal by JHA*
Ingredients: Soy sauce (contains wheat, soybean, Japan), sugar, salt, shaved bonito, kombu / seasoning (amino acids), preservative (potassium sorbate)
