    While Sencha and Matcha comes from the same plant species, they have different end texture, shape, and consistency.

    Sencha is prepared by infusing processed loose leaves in hot water, whereas matcha is grounded into a delicate powder form.
    Sencha is also considered to be the most popular tea in Japan.
